Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to support surgical procedures in a fast-paced setting. The role focuses on assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care, with emphasis on sterile technique and teamwork.

Responsibilities include prepping equipment, assisting surgeons, maintaining counts, coordinating with the health team, and ensuring patient safety. The position requires an active RN license, BLS, and OR experience.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).
• 1 year of OR experience.
• CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment and instrumentation for surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons with procedures and maintain sterile technique.
• Position patients and assist with transfers.
• Maintain equipment counts and instrument inventory.
• Assist with decontamination and room turnover.
