Job summary

You will coordinate incidental testing and ensure referrals comply with payer guidelines, optimizing reimbursement and satisfaction.

The role requires 3–5 years in posting/authorizing, knowledge of ICD-10/CPT, and familiarity with IDX or similar billing systems. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 3–5 years in posting/authorizing.
• Knowledge of payer requirements for referrals and preauthorization.
• Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding; experience with IDX or similar billing systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedules all division surgeries and incidental testing and authorizes surgical cases.
• Handles referrals and preauthorization per practice and payer guidelines.
• Ensures referral/preauthorization activities maximize patient/provider satisfaction and reimbursement.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
