Ohana Pet Hospital in Ventura, CA is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). You will support surgery, anesthesia, and dental procedures in a fast-paced, collaborative general practice.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of veterinary technician experience.
• Active and in good standing California RVT license.
• Strong patient assessment and nursing skills.
• Proficiency with anesthetic induction, monitoring, and recovery.
• Experience with dental prophylaxis and radiography.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate surgical and dental procedure schedules.
• Calculate and prepare anesthetic medications and dosages.
• Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia.
• Perform dental prophylaxis and dental radiography.
• Monitor patient recovery and ongoing care.
• Guide clients through admission and discharge with compassion.
