Job summary

Universal Health Services' Inland Valley Hospital in Wildomar, California seeks a Staff Registered Nurse to provide excellence in patient care across assigned units, manage pain, invasive lines and surgical drains, and collaborate with the care team according to hospital policies and core values.

The ideal candidate has one year of CCU/acute care experience, CA RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of critical care experience in an acute care setting.
• California RN license (Current).
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

Southwest HealthcareInland Valley Hospital in Wildomar, California, is a licensed 122-bed facility accredited by the Joint Commission. It is Southwest Riverside County's only designated Trauma Center and a county-designated Paramedic Base Station. The hospital performs more than 4,000 surgeries a year, and has an average of 4,000 Emergency Department visits per month.The hospitalfeatures a Bariatric Weight-Loss Surgery Center of Excellence and the region’s only Total Joint Center.

Staff Registered Nurses are responsible for providing excellence in patient care, collaborative and comprehensive care based on patient and/or family needs, providing assessments, treatment and care on assigned units. Will provide care for patients throughout the continuum of care, including management of pain, invasive lines and surgical drains. Staff Registered Nurses will also practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal and hospital policies as well as consistently demonstrate behaviors that model the Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospitals’ Core Values and the hospitals mission statement

Qualifications

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

One (1) year experience in an critical care setting in an acute care facility.

BSN Preferred

REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS

Current California Registered Nurse license.

BLS certification.

ACLS certification

PALS certification

Employees may be required to float to the other facility within Southwest Health Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospital based on operational needs, with appropriate orientation and competency validation provided.
