Job summary

Mercy Joplin is seeking an experienced RN to provide patient care using the nursing process, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and coordinate treatment with other departments.

The Med/Surg service line offers day and night shifts, a sign-on bonus, tuition reimbursement, relocation assistance, and a strong support team. Join a mission-driven team focused on Mercy standards and professional accountability while growing across ICU/ED opportunities.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited school.
• Current RN license in our state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care with professional accountability.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers.
• Performs duties in alignment with Mercy mission, values and Mercy Service Standards.
• Supports a Surgical/Med Surg unit with diverse patient populations and diagnoses.
