Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO is seeking a Surgical RN for a 24-hour-per-week daytime role. Sign-on bonuses of $5,000 for graduates and $10,000 for experienced nurses are offered.

Education requires a nursing credential (ADN, Diploma, or BSN) and an RN license with current state or compact eligibility. BLS is required or completed within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Maintain current RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support required or completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of information.
• Evaluate overall care effectiveness provided by direct care givers.
• Adhere to Mercy Service Standards.
