Jefferson Health Northeast is seeking a professional nurse to deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process. The role focuses on individualized plans, family collaboration, and cultural sensitivity in a dynamic hospital setting.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, educate patients and families, and participate in safety and quality initiatives while supporting ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice (PA/NJ)
• Specialized Diploma in nursing from accredited programs
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered care and cultural sensitivity
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff
• Experience with discharge planning and care coordination
• Familiarity with evidence-based nursing practices and clinical protocols

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process and individualized care plans
• Collaborate with patients and families to identify learning needs and educate on treatments
• Utilize health IT to document care, monitor outcomes, and support ethical decisions
• Work within nursing and inter-professional teams to ensure safe, compassionate care
• Participate in safety and quality committees and seek ongoing professional development
• Provide preceptor support to staff as appropriate
