Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a fast-paced 26-bed post-op surgical unit in Milwaukee, WI. The 3EF unit cares for GI, Urology, Gynecology, and Plastic Surgery patients with telemetry and post-anesthesia recovery needs.

The successful candidate will have an accredited nursing program, an active RN license in Wisconsin, and BLS certification. This unit emphasizes shared governance and excellent patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice and clinical decision making to ensure the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
