AdventHealth in Tavares, Florida, seeks an experienced RN for peri-operative care. The role covers preoperative and postoperative assessment, OR setup, and intraoperative support. You will ensure patient privacy, safety, and effective communication within the team.

The position requires active RN licensure, BLS, CNOR/CRNFA preferred, and 2+ years in a multi-specialty setting. Day shift, full-time hours, and competitive pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Assures appropriate traffic control in the operating room.
• Initiates incident reporting mechanisms when indicated.
• Assists with orientation of new employees and unit responsibility as delegated.

Responsibilities

• Performs specialized nursing care in all peri-operative phases.
• Assists with pre- and postoperative assessment and updates preference cards.
• Performs surgical counts and prepares operating room setup.
• Recognizes abnormal data and emergency situations; responds appropriately.
