Job summary

Advocate Health’s 3CD Surgical unit in Milwaukee, WI is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse. The 23-bed post-operative unit specializes in urology, colorectal, vascular, GYN and plastics, with Tele Patients and a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

You will apply the nursing process to deliver safe, patient-centered care and collaborate across disciplines. This full-time role features a 0700–1930 schedule with 36 hours per week and every 3rd weekend rotation along with alternating holidays.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license in the state where the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead with evidence-based practice to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience.
