Highpoint Health Winchester with Ascension Saint Thomas is seeking a Surgery RN to join our team, delivering direct patient care through the nursing process and circulating during surgical and endoscopic procedures. The role requires a TN-licensed RN with an associate degree and relevant certifications.

You will monitor patient status, document care, and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the care team to ensure safety and quality.

Qualifikationen

• Active Tennessee license (single-state or compact) within 30 days of hire.
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications required within specified timelines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process according to scope and standards.
• Circulate during surgical and endoscopic procedures.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Administer medications and assist with specimen collection.
• Monitor and communicate patient condition to care team.
• Document care accurately and timely.
• Transport and care for patients from pre-op to discharge.
• Assist in PACU/recovery as needed.
• Support room turnover and case preparation.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and staff to ensure quality care.
