Job summary

OSF HealthCare in Illinois is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Operating Room and Recovery team. You will provide high-quality patient care, coordinate across disciplines, and support families throughout the care continuum.

This hourly role requires IL (or MI) RN licensure and BLS; on-site travel to Holy Family Medical Center in Monmouth, IL; sign-on bonus available; front-loaded vacation for experienced staff.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Illinois or Michigan.
• BSN degree preferred; BLS certification required.
• Experience in a healthcare setting and EMR/Microsoft Office familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Provide care coordination across the continuum with the multidisciplinary team.
• Assess physical symptoms and provide psychological support to patients and families.
• Mentor assigned team members and promote best practices.

Pay range for this position is $37.05 - $54.54/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.

$10k-20k Sign-On Bonus
(New Grads: $10k, 1+ Years of Experience: $20k)

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: Protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure; collaborating with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum. Assessing and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains professional disposition at all times.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• License/Certifications: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan), Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: BSN
• Experience: Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment
• Other skills/knowledge: Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency
