Job summary

Good Samaritan Medical Center in Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Short Stay Unit, providing direct and indirect care for surgical patients under standard nursing processes. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient-centered care and education for families.

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved School of Nursing Licenses.
Florida RN license required or eligible.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
PALS within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

Administer direct and indirect nursing care to surgical patients in the Short Stay Unit.
Perform assessment, intervention, evaluation, and teaching related to the surgical procedure.
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide patient-focused care.
Participate in process improvement and professional education activities.
