Job summary

Kindred Hospital Central Tampa, a 102-bed long-term acute care hospital in North Central Tampa, is seeking an RN to deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process, collaborate with physicians and the care team, and participate in discharge planning.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and active RN license in Florida, BCLS; ACLS preferred, with at least six months' Medical/Surgical experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with RN licensure.
• Minimum six months of Medical/Surgical experience preferred.
• Current state RN license and BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process.
• Develop and update patient care plans with the team.
• Administer medications following five rights.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient education.
• Document assessments and care in the medical record.
