Job summary

Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital – Surgery Room in North Carolina is seeking an experienced RN to join our team. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week, with Monday–Friday schedule and rotating weekly call and weekend call.

You will use the nursing process to assess and plan patient care, monitor conditions, and collaborate with the care team to improve outcomes. A BSN is preferred, RN licensure in good standing, and BLS certification are required; extensive OR nursing experience is valued.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing with required state(s) approvals.
• OR RN experience required.
• Graduation from a board-approved nursing education program.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and maintains EHR documentation.
• May float to other units as needed.
