Job summary

Mercy is seeking a dedicated Surgical Registered Nurse to provide high-quality perioperative care in a fast-paced hospital setting in Missouri. In this full-time role, you will perform pre- and post-operative assessments, administer medications, monitor patient recovery, and educate patients and families.

You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes, uphold evidence-based practice, and contribute to lifesaving advances in patient care

Qualifications

• Active Missouri RN license and BLS certification.
• Experience in perioperative or surgical unit preferred.
• Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operative assessments.
• Administer medications and monitor analgesia.
• Monitor vital signs and recovery progress.
• Educate patients and families on care plans.
