Tennessee Donor Services in Nashville, TN, is seeking a Surgical Services Manager to lead the Surgical Recovery team and oversee organ preservation, allocation, and compliance with UNOS and regulatory standards.

The role requires 5+ years OR experience, 3–5 years leadership, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent health background. Some travel and on-call duties are required; competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; health-related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience managing staff.
• 5+ years operating room experience.
• OPO experience preferred; scrub tech, EMT or RN/LVN preferred.
• Valid driver's license with ability to pass MVR checks.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day oversight and leadership of Surgical Recovery staff.
• Oversee surgical recovery practices, perfusion, and organ preservation.
• Coordinate call schedule and on-call coverage for the service area.
• Lead education, training, and competency reviews for preservation duties.
• Collaborate with hospitals and transplant teams for organ allocation and delivery.
• Support quality processes, investigations, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure supplies, equipment, and workspace readiness in accordance with OSHA.
