Job summary

Fresno Surgical Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures. You will operate imaging equipment, ensure patient safety, and document exams in the EMR.

The role requires completion of AMA approved Radiologic Technology training, CA licensure with ARRT, and ideally one year of surgical setting experience. You will contribute to a team focused on safety, efficiency, and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• AMA approved Radiologic Technology program graduation.
• Minimum one year of surgical setting experience preferred.
• California Radiologic Technologist license and ARRT registration required.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Explain procedures and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Document exams in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Maintain radiation safety and aseptic procedures.
• Cover the department desk, answer phones, and maintain department organization.
• Perform room turnovers with operating room staff.
• Record patient data and prepare reports.
• Position patient and equipment for examinations.
