Qualifications

• Hold a Kansas Radiologic Technologist License.
• ARRT certification or registry eligibility within 30 days of hire.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to move quickly in response to physician and patient needs.
• Ability to stand for long periods, overhead reaching.
• Ability to exert up to 50 lbs occasionally, up to 20 lbs frequently and/or up to 10 lbs constantly.
• Requires ability to exert up to 30 lbs constantly, up to 40 lbs occasionally and up to 100 lbs rarely.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate fluoroscopic imaging equipment under physician direction.
• Perform portable diagnostic procedures for pre-, intra-, and post-operative assessment.
• Assemble supplies and positioning aids per physician's preference card.
• Test and monitor equipment for proper operation.
• Maintain aseptic technique during procedures.
• Communicate patient status to the care team.
• Ensure room shielded before activating x-ray.
