Job summary

Portneuf Medical Center in Idaho is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to support a range of diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic procedures. You will work under the supervision of a Radiologist and the Radiology Director, ensuring high-quality images while maintaining strict radiation safety practices.

The role includes collecting patient data, documenting procedures, performing radiographic tasks, and assisting with fluoroscopic procedures in imaging, endoscopy, and the operating room.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Science program.
• Certification and current registration for Radiologic Technologist (R) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Radiologist and Director of Radiology, performs and/or assists with all routine diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic procedures.
• Produce quality images while applying both radiation and physical safety measures.
• Collect Patient Data and Document Procedure.
• Perform Radiographic Procedures.
• Assist Physicians with Fluoroscopic Procedures in Medical Imaging, endoscopy, and the operating room.
• Performance Improvement.
• This position will be primarily in Surgery.

Education

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Science program.
