Job summary

Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga seeks an Imaging OR Specialist to perform a variety of intraoperative imaging procedures and support surgeons during operations. You will operate specialized x-ray equipment, maintain sterile technique, and document imaging results as part of a high-quality diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

The role requires AS/AA or BS in radiologic technology, BLS, and ARRT-R eligibility within 1 year of start.

Qualifications

• CPR/Basic Life Support certification is required.
• ARRT-R radiography certification or eligibility must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Operate department imaging equipment with strict adherence to radiation safety protocols.
• Document imaging procedures and maintain patient records.
• Provide real-time intraoperative imaging support and assist surgeons during procedures.
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment and adapt to changing intraoperative conditions.
• Mentor new hires and radiology students and ensure quality controls.
