Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. is seeking a Surgery Physician Assistant to assist, monitor, and manage day-to-day patient needs under physician supervision, with responsibilities aligned to surgical residents.

This role requires completion of an approved PA program, licensure, and certification; strong communication and computer skills are essential; weekend, holiday, and on-call duties apply.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an approved physician's assistant program, accredited by the AMA Council on Medical Education.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assist, monitor, and manage the day-to-day needs of patients as requested by, in conjunction with, and under the supervision of a physician.
• Perform the duties and responsibilities of a Physician Assistant according to customary and generally accepted medical standards.
• This position will support the surgery residents.
