Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• 1–3 years of experience as a Physician Assistant preferred, though new grads are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Surgical Assistance: act as a first or second assistant during major surgeries; assist with sutures, drainage tubes, and intraoperative tasks.
• Clinical Practice: conduct patient histories, physical exams, and daily rounds.
• Patient Management: develop holistic plans of care, order/interpret labs and imaging, and manage pre- and post-operative prep.
• Collaboration: communicate treatment plans between physicians, nursing staff, and the care team.
• Education: counsel patients and families on procedures, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
