Job summary

Qualifications

• Current New York State registration as a Physician Assistant.
• Current NCCPA certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform history and physical examinations.
• Order diagnostic tests based on assessments.
• Develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe drugs and other therapies.
• Make referrals as necessary.
• Document findings in the electronic medical record.
• Consult with supervising medical provider when appropriate.
• Provide counseling to patients and families regarding care.
• Review and respond to referrals from within and outside the clinic.
