Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months medical laboratory experience in specimen handling.
• Good communication, comprehension and typing skills.
• Significant understanding of concepts, practices and procedures in Pathology.
• Evidence of increasing responsibility in personnel interaction and organizational skills.
• AA degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and triage tissue and cytology specimens and provide necessary support functions.
• Assist with frozen sections, bone marrows and fine-needle aspirates.
• Provide clerical support and maintain equipment.
