Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree from a regionally accredited college/university is required.
• Successful completion of a NAACLS accredited Pathologist’s Assistant program is required.
• Pathologist's Assistant certification as a PA(ASCP) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and performance of human surgical specimen examinations.
• Responsible for accessioning of specimens with proper identification.
• Aids in resident training offering technical guidance in pathology.
