Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a General Surgical Pathologist to join a collegial team of 16 pathologists serving four hospitals and a central laboratory in Las Vegas, Nevada. The role involves rotation between Burnham lab and hospital settings, frozen sections and ROSE, with a mix of breast, GYN, GU, GI and cytology cases.

Board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and an unrestricted Nevada medical license or eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience preferred.
• Strong customer focus and understanding of laboratory operations.
• Ability to communicate with high level decision makers in the organization.

Responsibilities

• Rotation between the Burnham lab and hospital settings; Frozen sections and ROSE expected.
• Mix of outpatient and hospital-based surgical pathology cases (breast, GYN, GU, GI) and some cytology.
• Encouragement for candidates with subspecialty training in GYN, GU, Head & Neck, or GI to apply.
