Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Las Vegas, Nevada, seeks a General Surgical Pathologist to join a collegial team of 16 pathologists across four hospitals and a central lab.

The role includes rotation between Burnham lab and hospital settings with frozen sections and ROSE, handling breast, GYN, GU, and GI pathology, plus some cytology cases; board-certified or subspecialty fellowship training encouraged.

Qualifications

• Medical degree required.
• Board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
• Current, unrestricted medical license to practice in Nevada or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Rotate between Burnham lab and hospital settings.
• Perform frozen sections and ROSE.
• Handle outpatient and hospital-based surgical pathology cases (breast, GYN, GU, GI).
• Include cytology cases (body fluids, urine, GI brushings, Pap smears).
• Fellowship training in GYN, GU, Head & Neck or GI encouraged.
