The Department of Pathology at Montefiore Medical Center is one of the largest and most comprehensive medical center laboratories on the East Coast. We are seeking an applicant for a full-time Academic Surgical Pathology position in Renal Pathology at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor to join a staff of 25 surgical pathologists. The candidate should have subspecialty fellowship training and/or extensive experience (5+ years) in renal pathology with evidence of scholarly activity. Additional subspecialty or general surgical pathology training or experience is desirable.
This position offers opportunities to collaborate on clinical and research activities with adult, pediatric, and transplant nephrology services. Responsibilities include shared sign-out of approximately 600 renal biopsies (native and transplant), shared sign-out of surgical pathology specimens in other subspecialties as appropriate, autopsies, resident training, medical student teaching, and participation in translational or clinical research.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $250,000 to $375,000 depending on experience, along with productivity incentives. Additional benefits include LTD, STD, paid malpractice, health, dental, vision insurance, a 403(b) retirement plan, and more.
Candidates must hold an M.D., D.O., or equivalent degree, be board eligible or certified in AP/CP or AP, and have or be eligible for a New York State medical license.
