Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS) seeks a full‑time AP/CP board‑certified Surgical Pathologist to join our central laboratory in Fort Myers, Florida. You will analyze IHC and special stains, guide molecular testing, and support oncology teams statewide with accurate diagnoses.

Our pathologists collaborate with clinicians to ensure timely treatment decisions, with emphasis on quality, education, and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP).
• Fellowship in Surgical Pathology preferred.
• Minimum three years of post-training surgical pathology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze pathology cases including IHC & Special Stains.
• Determine ancillary testing and guide molecular testing as needed.
• Provide diagnostic guidance to medical oncology teams across the state; support timely treatment decisions.
