SSM Health SLUCare Physicians Group Surgery Services in St. Louis, MO is recruiting an experienced Physician Assistant to support our growing surgery team.

The role is outpatient-focused, Monday–Friday, with inpatient rounding responsibilities and no weekends or on-call duties. You’ll work with surgeons and residents, see new, established, and post-op patients, and enjoy strong onboarding and mentorship within a supportive hospital system.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from a nationally accredited PA program.
• Certified PA (PA-C).
• Missouri PA licensure.
• Minimum of one year experience practicing in a surgical specialty.
• Meet the requirements (and become a member) of the Hospital medical staff.
• Strong computer skills and working knowledge of the EPIC EMR.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient focused position Monday through Friday with inpatient rounding responsibilities.
• Support the surgical practices (primarily general surgery) working with both surgeons and residents.
• See new, established, and post-op patients.
• No Weekends/Evenings/Call.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong onboarding and mentorship.
