SSM Health SLUCare Physicians Group Surgery Services in St. Louis, MO, is recruiting an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to support our growing surgery team. The outpatient-focused role runs Monday through Friday with inpatient rounding responsibilities.

You will see new, established, and post-op patients while collaborating with surgeons and residents; the position offers strong onboarding, mentoring, independent work, and no weekends, evenings, or call.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from a nationally accredited NP or PA program.
• Certified NP or PA.
• Missouri RN and NP licensure or PA licensure.
• Minimum of one year experience practicing in a surgical specialty.
• Meet the requirements (and become a member) of the Hospital medical staff.
• Strong computer skills and working knowledge of the EPIC EMR.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient focused position Monday through Friday with inpatient rounding responsibilities.
• Support the surgical practices (primarily general surgery) working with both surgeons and residents.
• See new, established, and post-op patients.
• No Weekends/Evenings/Call.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong onboarding and mentorship.
