Job summary

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC is seeking an Operating Room (Surgical) Technician to support operations at the Northern California Health Care System in Mather, CA. The role requires assisting with sterile technique, patient preparation, and minor procedures as directed by surgical teams.

Candidates should have at least one year of direct patient care, hold an active AHA BLS certification, and CST is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of direct patient care within the last 3 years.
• Active AHA BLS certification.
• CST certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, room patients, and assist with clinical tasks.
• Set up sterile field and maintain sterility during procedures.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain all procedure setups.
• Ensure supplies and instruments are available prior to procedures.
• Assist providers with positioning, prepping, and obtaining supplies for patients.
• Follow universal precautions and infection control protocols.
• Label and handle specimens, place orders, and deliver to the lab.
• Enter surgery orders and communicate scheduling times.
• Provide patients with pre‑op testing instructions and timelines.
