Job summary

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, completion of an ORT program or 3+ years scrub experience, and a current BLS certificate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent or related experience required for new hires.
• Graduate of an ORT training program or on the job training with a minimum of 3 years experience (surgical setting preferred).
• Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in the generalized surgical specialties (e.g., GYN, General, Plastics).
• Experience in scrubbing in ortho, neuro, ENT, Uro, etc. procedures.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of sterile supplies and instruments for each assigned procedure.
• Maintaining sterile field during case.
• Provide surgeon with sterile supplies and instruments during procedures.
