Job summary

Lee Health is seeking an OR Scheduler for LPG Surgery - Riverwalk in Fort Myers, FL. This role serves as the primary contact for scheduling Surgical, Endoscopic, Endovascular labs and Interventional Radiology procedures, demanding strong communication and medical terminology knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required. Post high school training or college preferred.
• Previous medical or surgical scheduling experience. Epic experience is preferred. Has the ability to demonstrate multitasking competencies.

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgical, endoscopic, endovascular, and radiology procedures for physician offices.
• Verify information, pre-certifications/insurance, and coordinate with patients, surgeons and staff to optimize scheduling and communication.
