Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing.
• Current WV nursing license.
• BLS certification within 30 days from hire date.
• ACLS required 30 days from hire date for Med/Surg, OR, and ED.
• PALS required 30 days from hire date for OR and ED.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and diagnoses patient and family needs to provide quality care to assigned patients.
• Develops, discusses, and communicates a realistic plan of care with patient/family to address identified needs.
• Implements medical plan of care, nursing interventions, and procedures as necessary.
• Evaluates progress and reassesses to ensure quality care.
• Maintains up-to-date documentation of nursing care for the team.
