Job summary

Team1Medical is seeking an experienced OR Radiologic Technologist to support a high-volume surgical team in Houston, TX. The role involves operating C-arm fluoroscopy for orthopedic and pain management procedures, ensuring patient safety and imaging accuracy in a fast-paced setting.

The candidate should have ARRT (R) certification and a Texas MRT license, with 1+ year of OR experience preferred, especially in orthopedic/pain management.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required.
• Texas MRT license required.
• 1+ year OR experience preferred (Orthopedic and/or Pain Management highly preferred).
• Strong experience with C-arm in surgical settings.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and surgical workflows.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate C-arm fluoroscopy equipment during orthopedic and pain management procedures.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and clinical staff to ensure optimal imaging support.
• Maintain proper positioning and imaging techniques to ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols for patients and staff.
• Prepare and maintain equipment before, during, and after procedures.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with HIPAA and facility standards.
• Assist with patient positioning and provide support to ensure comfort and safety.
