Job summary

Methodist Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Supervisor, Operating Room to lead daily OR nursing operations, staffing, and performance management under the Nursing Director. You will hire, develop staff, and drive quality and safety in patient care.

This full-time role requires a BSN or ADN with a related bachelor’s degree, and two years of acute care RN experience; Minnesota RN licensure and BLS are required. Work schedules include a 1.0 FTE with day/evening shifts and on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or AD in Nursing and Baccalaureate degree in related field required.
• Two years of acute care RN experience.
• Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota.
• BLS provider status per AHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily supervision and operation of the unit/department.
• Lead hiring, staff development, performance management and scheduling.
• Improve unit processes in collaboration with leadership.
• Ensure staffing, safety and quality of patient care.
• Supervise nursing and support staff and manage equipment.
