Job summary

Incredible Health in the Washington, DC area is actively hiring for an Operating Room / Surgical Nurse (RN). The role requires ADN or higher in nursing, an active RN license, and OR or surgical experience is preferred. ACLS/PALS are preferred.

You will provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgery, and maintain an aseptic, safe operating room. Shift options include day, night, and mid shifts with full-time, part-time, or per diem positions.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing.
• Active RN license (unencumbered).
• 1+ years OR/surgical experience preferred.
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
• Experience with aseptic techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgery in accordance with standards.
• Maintain an aseptic and safe operating room environment.
• Assist in intra-operative nursing duties and monitor vital signs.
• Communicate with patients and families about procedures and postoperative care.
