Job summary

Incredible Health in Orange, CA is hiring an Operating Room / Surgical Nurse (RN) to support our active hospital partners. Shifts include day, night, and mid; full-time, part-time, and per diem positions are offered.

You will provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgery, maintain aseptic conditions, and collaborate with physicians, staff, and families. Requirements include ADN or higher in nursing, active RN license, and 1+ year OR experience; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree required or preferred.
• Active, unencumbered RN license required.
• 1+ years OR/surgical setting experience preferred.
• ACLS/PALS certification preferred.
• Experience with aseptic and sterile techniques.
• Strong communication and collaboration with staff, physicians, patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery in accordance with AORN standards.
• Maintain an aseptic and safe environment in the Operating Room.
• Assist in the intra-operative care of the patient by performing nursing and technical duties as assigned.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and other physiological parameters during surgery.
• Communicate with patients and their families about the surgical procedure and postoperative care.
