Job summary

Incredible Health in St. Helena, CA is seeking an experienced Operating Room / Surgical Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgery, in accordance with AORN standards.

Eligible candidates hold an ADN or higher in nursing, an active RN license, and at least 1 year of OR or surgical experience; ACLS/PALS are preferred. Salary ranges from $80,000 to $110,000 annually, with day shifts and both full-time and part-time options.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree required.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license required.
• 1+ years of operating room (OR) or surgical setting experience preferred.
• ACLS, PALS certification preferred.
• Experience with aseptic and sterile techniques.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration with staff, physicians, patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery in accordance with AORN standards.
• Maintain an aseptic and safe environment in the Operating Room.
• Assist in intra-operative care of the patient by performing nursing and technical duties as assigned.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and other physiological parameters during surgery.
• Communicate with patients and their families about the surgical procedure and postoperative care.
