The position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, 2 years OR nursing experience, Georgia RN licensure, BCLS, and preferrs AORN certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required.
• RN licensure in Georgia (NLC/eNLC multistate licensure) required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty (AORN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as clinical expert providing education, research, coaching, direct care, consultation, leadership collaboration and ethical decision making for patients and surgical services staff.
• Promotes quality through the utilization of clinical expertise and serves as a change agent. Communicates patient care and staff concerns to leaders as needed.
