Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health's Baylor University Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for our fast-paced Oncology units with high acuity patients. Onsite role with 3x12 hour day shifts and rotating weekends, relocation assistance available for eligible candidates.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care, apply evidence-based nursing practices, and support staff development.

Qualifications

• RN license required
• BLS certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire
• Chemo certification or obtain within 6–12 months

Responsibilities

• Work closely with members from different professional fields to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Assessing how effective the nursing practices are and infusing practices and research discoveries that are evidence-based.
• Fostering a caring and outcome-promoting environment.
• Encouraging development and opening up growth opportunities for staff members.
• Efficiently managing resources to promote safety within the healthcare system.
