Job summary

Redeemer Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to perform all aspects of the nursing process and provide comprehensive care to patients and families. You will communicate with a multidisciplinary team, advocate for patients, and help develop junior staff within a mission-driven health system.

The role requires PA licensure, BSN or progress toward it, and certifications such as BLS; ACLS/NRP/PALS may be required by unit with timeframes specified. Shift flexibility is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Active registered nurse license in Pennsylvania.
• BSN completed or pursued within 3 years of hire.
• Specialty certification preferred.
• IV skills and patient monitoring proficiency.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS in specialty areas within 6 months.
• NRP/PALS where applicable within noted timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of the nursing process per Professional Nursing Law.
• Provide direct and indirect patient care; supervise others providing care.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to multidisciplinary teams.
• Act as patient/customer advocate and support mission of Redeemer Health.
• Contribute to development and mentoring of new nurses.
