Weill Cornell Medicine on the Upper East Side seeks a Registered Nurse - Surgical Oncology to support physicians with patient care, EMR management and clinical protocols. Schedule: 35 hours per week, Monday–Friday, exempt.

Responsibilities include triaging inquiries, coordinating tests, assisting during exams, maintaining infection control, and contributing to safety programs. Requires BSN and NY RN license, BLS, and IRB familiarity.

Qualifications

• BSN required or extensive RN experience may be considered in lieu of BSN

Responsabilités

• Assist physicians with patient care and EMR chart management.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care and arrange diagnostic tests as ordered.
• Triages patient inquiries and communicates test results.
• Ensure infection control compliance within the practice.
• Administer injections/medications per guidelines.
• Record medical information in EMR.
• Participate in safety programs and staff orientation.
• May assist with precertification/preauthorization of prescriptions.
