Job summary

A healthcare provider in Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse for their surgical oncology unit at a state-of-the-art medical center. Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
• Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license required.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and revise patient care plans based on treatment responses.
• Consult with interdisciplinary teams to adjust care plans.
• Administer medications in accordance with hospital policies.
• Delegate appropriately to non-licensed staff.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients.
• Educate patients and families on care and treatments.
• Collaborate with the care team on discharge plans.
