Zusammenfassung

The Department of Surgery, Division of Surgical Oncology at the Huntsman Cancer Hospital seeks an Advanced Practice Clinician (NP/PA) to join a patient-focused academic team.

University of Utah Health offers education, research and high-quality patient care; APCs work with team physicians and may operate in inpatient and outpatient settings with opportunities for new clinical services.

Qualifikationen

• Current licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant from the State of Utah.
• Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential through the University of Utah Health RQI system. The eCredential is to be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Aufgaben

• Operative first assist for Hepato-Pancreatico, gastric, HIPEC and PIPAC surgeries.
• Assistance to the resident team with inpatient rounding, pre and post-operative care, and hospital discharges.
• Assist in covering consultations from the emergency department or other hospital services.
• Some outpatient clinic visits with faculty providers, including some minor procedures in clinic.
• Autonomous outpatient surveillance clinic 1-2 days/week and development of new clinical services possible.
