Job summary

The University of Cincinnati’s College of Medicine is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to assist in patient care for surgical oncology. The candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating excellent organizational and communication skills.

Qualified applicants must hold a Master's degree in nursing or be a certified Physician Assistant with an active Ohio license. Additional qualifications include a minimum of three years nursing experience or two years clinical experience. Competitive salary and comprehensive health benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio APRN license with prescriptive authority for Nurse Practitioner.
• Active Board Certification in appropriate nursing specialty.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
• Minimum of three years nursing experience or two years clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Take patient history and conduct physical examinations.
• Order laboratory studies and explain diagnostic procedures to patients.
• Train new personnel.
• Participate in teaching medical students and other trainees.
