Job summary

MultiCare Cancer Institute is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) to support physicians and APPs in delivering high-quality cancer care across Washington state. The MA-C will manage patient flow, perform clinical tasks such as venipuncture and vital signs, and assist with exams and procedures under supervision.

Qualifications include WA MA-C certification, BLS, and at least 1 year of healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• MA-Certified in Washington state
• Minimum of one year healthcare experience preferred
• Current BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Organize patient flow with front office staff
• Interview patients and obtain vital signs
• Assist patients for exams or treatments
• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection
• Administer medications per WA DoH regulations
• Relay instructions to patients and families
• Handle patient records and referrals
