Job summary

VHC Health is seeking a Clinical Technician II to work under the direct supervision of an RN. You will perform direct patient care, assist with activities of daily living, monitor patient condition, and help maintain a safe, clean environment. Opportunities exist for growth within a collaborative care team.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, at least six months of related clinical experience, and BLS certification. Six hours of related education are also required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months experience as Clinical Technician I or equivalent clinical experience as defined in CORE skills for Clinical Technician II, or enrollment in Clinical Technician II program.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of six education hours related to current role.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care and activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Observe and report changes in patient status to the care team.
• Maintain clean, safe environment and assist with transport of patients.
• Support the health care team with routine duties as assigned.
